Our homestay is located in Point Chevalier, Auckland, New Zealand. Our home is a 4 bedroom, three bathroom Art Deco house with a large deck and garden.  We are only 4.5 km from the city centre, and a five minute walk from Auckland Zoo & Western Springs.  The closest bus stop is a three minute walk away, with frequent buses to the city and elsewhere.

Your Homestay and English lessons include the following*:

• Modern bedroom with queen bed, private ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, hand basin and toilet.

• Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner each day, prepared to a high quality, tailored to the students' tastes and requirements.

• Laundry, room cleaning and clean linen as required.

• 15 hours of private English lessons per week, held in our private classroom.  English lessons can be Business English, Conversation, (speaking, listening and pronunciation) or General English (Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing).  Lessons are scheduled, in consultation with the student, from Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm. OET (for Nursing) and IELTS lessons are also available for a slightly higher fee than the prices below.

• Interaction, activities and socialising with the homestay family which includes Brett (father & teacher, Kiwi), Severine (mother, qualified ESL teacher, French & English speaker). Two daughters, Nina & Margot at University & High School. Lockie (Border collie dog) & Amy (tortoise shell cat). Also, we sometimes have another homestay from another country, who will be studying full-time at an English Language school.

• Practical advice on activities, transportation and sightseeing around Auckland. We will invite you to accompany us on any weekend trips, such at to the supermarket, farmers market, beaches or local hiking trails.
